Are you aware that hotdogs and bacon are just as dangerous as smoking cigarettes?  Just one serving of deli meats daily increases your risks of colorectal cancer by 18%.

The World Health Organization looked over 800 studies from 10 different countries and found a direct link to consuming processed meat in cancer. They also classify processed meat as a Group 1 carcinogen. The same group as cigarettes, asbestos, and plutonium. red meat is a Group 2 carcinogen.

Risk assessments for human hazards typically consist of two components; first, a hazard assessment to determine if a particular exposure can have adverse consequences and second, an exposure assessment to determine if the range of exposures puts an individual or population at risk of adverse consequences. In some instances, a particular exposure will be found to be carcinogenic but the exposure will be so minimal that it is of little concern to the general population.

The hazard assessment may be partially based on animal studies. Human epidemiologic studies combine both parts of the typical risk assessment process into a single study by assessing the degree of exposure and the association with the risk of cancer in a single study.

But soo far, the data is clear: 2/3 of adults are now overweight or obese, and we have an epidemic cascade of debilitating disease that’s overcoming the globe. There’s no way we can sustain the current style of care with the epidemic that we’re creating with our diet and lifestyle choices

The diabetes, the arthritis, the heart disease, the dementia, the obesity, the cancers are affecting about 70% of deaths. All the data is that those 70% of deaths and morbidity are largely lifestyle-related and preventable.

looking for the cause of diabetes and the cause of clogged arteries, and the cause of high blood pressure, and the cause of obesity - Its the food!

Let me explain: Pharmaceutical companies sell mountains of drugs to factory farms, which depend on them to maintain their abnormally intensive systems. The animals develop antibiotic resistance that spreads to humans. Humans need stronger drugs. In the meantime, the animal industries flood the government with cash in exchange for subsidies. The government, invested in keeping the generous animal food lobbies flush, runs federal programs pushing people to eat increasing amounts of animal-based foods. People oblige. People get sick, requiring medication for the rest of their lives, along with expensive medical procedures. The drugs and procedures falsely assure them that they can continue to eat the food that made them sick in the first place.

People continue to support the animal agriculture industry by buying their products, which pay for studies to further convince the public that animal products are an essential part of a healthy diet. People continue to support the pharmaceutical companies because they are tethered to their prescription drugs. This allows drug companies to pay for the “education” of our doctors who prescribe more drugs to us.

Diabetes is not and never was caused by eating a high carbohydrate diet and it’s not caused by eating sugar. The cause of diabetes is a diet that builds up the amount of fat into the blood. I’m talking about a typical meat-based, animal-based diet. You can look into the muscle cells of the human body and you find they’re building up tiny particles of fat which is causing insulin resistance. What that means is the sugar that is naturally from the foods that you’re eating can’t get into the cells where it belongs. It builds up in the blood and that’s diabetes.

Here’s the thing, if I eat a sugary cookie, the sugar lures you in like the Trojan Horse but waiting inside that cookie is a huge load of butter or shortening and that’s what fattens you up. That’s the part that leads to the diabetes. It’s the fatty foods, not really so much the sugar.

It’s not that sugar’s good for you. There’s no nutrients in it, it’s excess calories, but when you eat sugar, you don’t get inflammation right away. When you eat sugar, you’re not getting plaques forming in your vessels. When you’re eating sugar, your body’s gonna store most of it as glycogen or burn it as calories. So, this focus on sugar has taken all the focus off meat, dairy, eggs, pork, turkey, chicken.
